How an order gets from the clinician to the patient:
The patient and clinician always choose what HME provider to send orders to based on patient preferences, providers the facility works with frequently, insurance requirements, Parachute’s Supplier Service Index (SSI), and/or their own clinical judgement.
ePrescribing for HME is just like ePrescribing for Medications
HME orders through Parachute are processed electronically the same way a patient and clinician decide which pharmacy to order medicine from. That pharmacy pays a standard fee for getting the prescription cleanly and digitally.
