Parachute Health - Product Management Lead
In the U.S. alone, over 30 million patients per year are prescribed care via paper and fax. The ordering process is long, complicated, and yields an 83% error rate. Discharges are delayed and patients are having to spend more time in care facilities.
At Parachute Health, we’re pioneering a modern approach to healthcare communication. We’ve built a platform where clinicians, insurance companies and medical supply distributors coordinate care; empowering everyone to focus on getting their patients the treatment they need, when they need it.
In the year since launch, we’ve helped more than 300,000 patients. Founded and launched in New York, we’ve grown across 19 states and partnered with 4 of the top 10 ranked hospitals, 5 of the top 15 largest nursing facility chains and 5 of the 10 largest home health agencies.
We have a product that people love, built by a strong product, design and engineering team: Thousands of facilities use our platform to order from the largest suppliers of medical equipment and supplies in the county. We also have huge opportunities in front of us: new user types, new product coverage, empowering partners with our data, making our existing product even more user friendly. We’re looking for a strong product manager that can understand our users, help us scale our product, and position us well to attack our next set of opportunities.
What You'll Do
Drive (and take ownership of) end-to-end product development, from the product definition of requirements to managing on-time launches
Lead groups of incredible engineers, designers and account execs to create new features and/or solutions
Understand and incorporate user behavior both qualitatively and quantitatively
Development process - Partner with relevant management (Engineering, Design, Operations, Sales & Marketing) to grow and operate a highly performing product development process for our organization
Help set and achieve top- and bottom-line performance targets. Collaborate effectively across the organization to articulate and align around market opportunities, requirements, prioritization, and returns on investments for product decisions to ensure that relevant KPIs are achieved
Interact with current and potential partners to aide in business development, feedback collection, and account management as needed
Passionate about improving patient outcomes in the healthcare space
Past successes driving product at a software start-up (or software focused division) for a minimum of 4-6 years
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Experience working with an agile development team
Ability to develop in depth understanding of a market, including key stakeholders, collaborators and competitors
Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present ideas clearly and succinctly
Strong internal stakeholder management skills, ability to create corporate-wide alignment around product vision and prioritization
Willingness and excitement to get your hands dirty: step in to write user stories, QA the application, anything the company needs to be successful!
Results-oriented with high levels of independence and efficiency
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, scientific, or quantitative field, or equivalent experience
A background in healthcare, and knowledge of healthcare complexity
